Maruti Suzuki sales grow in Sep 2023: share price gains over 2% in one month

  Maruti Suzuki has set a new record in car sales in September 2023. The company has recorded the highest monthly sales last month by selling 1,81,343 lakh vehicles. The company had sold 1,76,306 vehicles in the same month last year. During this period, the company also dispatched 1,76,306 vehicles to its dealers across the country. Let us tell you that the company had sold 1,56,114 units in August 2023. Let us know how was the performance of Maruti cars. Maruti Suzuki said in a statement that total domestic passenger vehicle sales rose 2% last month to 1,50,812 units from 1,48,380 units in September 2022. The company's total sales crossed the 10 lakh units mark in the April-September period. Maruti sold 10,50,085 vehicles in the first half of the current financial year, while the figure was 9,85,326 units in the same period of the last financial year.
