Maruti Suzuki:2022 is going to be a very busy year for Maruti Suzuki, as the company is going to launch 8 new cars in India this year. One of these 2022 models will be the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV which is being well-liked by the Indian customers. If sources are to be believed, the company is ready to launch this car in March.Maruti is working on the all-new Ertiga, whose test model has been spotted several times in the country. However, if you are waiting to buy the new model of Ertiga, then do not raise your expectations too much, as the company has made minor changes in it. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift gets a redesigned grille, which is a black stripe connecting the taillamps.

Ertiga facelift : Difficult to spot changes

The bumpers and headlamps of the 2022 Ertiga Facelift have been taken over from the existing model. The changes on the new Ertiga are so minor that it would be difficult to spot the difference between the existing and the new model if you take a quick glance. The interiors of the new Ertiga facelift are yet to be seen, however, in line with the exterior changes, minor changes can also be seen in the interior of the car. For the facelift model, the company can increase its prices marginally, at present the starting ex-showroom price of this MPV is Rs 7.97 lakh.

Ertiga facelift: A fresh look at the Interiors!

We believe that the cabin could get new color upholstery and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system to give a fresh look to the interiors. Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki is going to offer features like the new Ertiga which include wireless phone charger, Android Auto with Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, colored multi-info display, push button start with keyless entry and cruise control. Safety features like two airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors are also going to be available here.

Ertiga facelift: 1.5-litre petrol engine from the current Ertiga

The Ertiga facelift will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine from the current model making 105 PS of power, mated to a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox. This engine comes with a mild hybrid system that provides torque assist to save petrol. Here customers also get a CNG variant which is factory fitted. The Ertiga facelift is also included in the company's plan to launch 8 new vehicles in 2022. In India, it is going to compete with Renault Triber, Mahindra Marazzo and the upcoming Kia Carens.
