Actually, a Karnataka farmer named Kempegowda had come to Mahindra showroom to buy a car of his choice with his friends, but a salesman present there treated his costume in such a way that he could not buy the car. The salesman said '10 lakh rupees away, you won't even have 10 rupees in your pocket'.After this, before leaving the showroom, the farmer and his friends said that if they bring cash, will the delivery be done today. On this, the showroom executive agreed and the farmer came back to the showroom with Rs 10 lakh in cash within 30 minutes.
After this incident on Friday, the car could not be delivered on the same day. As Saturday and Sunday were government holidays, the employees asked Kempegowda for time for car delivery, which angered Kempegowda and his friends. He lodged a complaint against the showroom at Tilak Nagar police station. After this the police came and explained to everyone. An apology was made in writing to Kampagouda on behalf of the showroom, after which the matter was settled.
