Cumulative sales of the Indian automotive industry fell by 15.5 percent to 2.17.152 units in June 2019.
 Total decline in automotive sector continued in June 2019 and producers had difficulty in registering positive growth. Mahindra & Mahindra was the only brand to record YoY (looking at the negligible number of Fiat), compared to 18,826 units in the last month of 2018, last month 15,942 units.

Recently launched XUV300 would have played a bigger role in Mahindra, when others were not impressive. As recently happened, Maruti Suzuki led with 1,05,000 units, but 13.8 percent Yo-Day-growth and 3.9 percent MoM's sales were in decline. The country's largest carmaker has planned a number of new launches during this year, including the S-Preso Micro SUV for sale.
