First month sales of Kia Motors beat half a dozen car brands in India.

With the launch of the first Celtos product, Kia made its mark as the seventh car manufacturer in India.


In the first month of the sale commencing, South Korean carmaker Kia Motors India has outsourced half a dozen foreign carmakers such as Ford, Renault, Nissan, Skoda etc.

With the launch of the first product — Seltos, Kia has identified itself as the 7th largest carmaker in the country, while other new entry MG Motors rank 11th among a total of 14 big brands.

Kia will sell more than 6200 units of Celtos by August 2019, while Ford and Renault, which have more products in their guitars, will be able to sell 5517 and 5700 cars respectively.
