Maruti and Toyota subsidiary will set up a car-destroying plant

The Maruti and Toyota subsidiary will set up a car-destroying plant.
As the government is developing a policy for scrapping older vehicles in India, Maruti Suzuki decided to set up an old vehicle dismantling plant with a Toyota subsidiary.
Maruti and Toyota Tsusho India will supply, dismantle and process end-of-life vehicles, as well as sell and sell scrap metal and other products resulting from such activities, TOI sources said.
In this way, the Maruti-Toyota venture will be the second large joint venture in the automotive industry to work in a high-class vehicle scrapping plant in India, following in the footsteps of Mahindra and Mahindra (through its subsidiary Mahindra Accelo), which has established cooperation with MSTC from the sector public. They both founded a recycling plant in Greater Noida.
Toyota Tsusho is already active in India and is involved in the production and marketing of auto parts and components, steel cutting and processing, import and export of auto parts and logistics management services
The Japanese parent company Toyota Tsusho Corporation operates in the fields of metals, parts and logistics, automotive, machinery, energy and projects, chemicals, electronics, food and consumer services.

Maruti's parents, Suzuki and Toyota, have deeper relationships where they buy each other little equity, in addition to developing joint vehicles, engines and new technology plans for India and global markets
