Mercedes-Benz has given the 4.0-liter V8 engine in the new AMG SUV that is similar to the current model. This engine generates 594 bhp power and 850 Nm peak torque. Apart from this, with the help of EQ boost starter generator, this engine generates more than 250 Nm of torque with 20 bhp power. The company launched the engine with a 9-speed automatic gearbox that supplies power to all four wheels of the SUV. The all wheel drive system of the car provides 100% power to the previous two wheels as per the requirement which would have been supplied to both axles in 50:50 ratio.
