If you talk about regular Kia Seltos, then it will be available for sale from next year. Seltos in India start at Rs 10 lakhs.
Its engine options and variants are different from the model in India. The US-based Kia Seltos has been introduced in 5 trims - LX, EX, S 2.0L, S 1.6T and SX. It has All Wheel Drive system and Front Wheel Drive system which is not in India.
Two engine options have been introduced in it. The first 2.0 liter naturally aspirated mill which delivers 146 PS and 179 Nm. Second 1.6 liter turbocharged mill which delivers 175 hp and 265 Nm. Both are petrol motors. Diesel is not offered.
A 2.0 liter unit for powering the entry variants and a 1.6 liter unit for the top variant has been introduced. Both engines are equipped with FWD and AWD option. The 2.0 liter mill transmission option is a 7 speed DCT unit of CVT units and 1.6 liter turbo.

In India, the Kia Seltos has introduced 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine option which is BS6 compliant. The 1.5 liter petrol engine delivers 115 PS power and 144 Nm torque. The 1.5 liter VGT diesel engine is capable of delivering 115 PS power and 250 Nm torque and 1.4 liter turbo GDI engine 140 PS power and 242 Nm torque. These engines are equipped with a 6 speed manual gearbox and automatic transmission option.
