Let us tell you that Maruti Suzuki launched its first car in India on 14 December 1983, which was called Maruti 800. The company has not looked back since then and has become the first company to sell 20 million  cars in India.
You would be surprised to know that it took Maruti Suzuki three decades to touch the sales figure of 1 crore cars, but the company has sold 10 million subsequent cars only in these 8 years, which is really surprising.

Fastest in case of BS-6 too

As you all know, BS-6 is going to be implemented in India from April 1, 2020. Various companies are working to update their product regarding this. In this sense, Maruti Suzuki is also at the forefront of upgrading its cars.
Let us tell you that Maruti Suzuki has brought its 8 top selling models with BS6 engine. The most popular of these models include Alto, Swift and Dzire. Apart from this, it has decided not to bring BS6 diesel variants of cars like Swift, Baleno, Dzire and Brezza.
Interestingly, the company has not yet decided on upgrading diesel variants of big vehicles like S-Cross and Ciaz. However, let's clarify one more thing that one of the two new diesel models has been seen during testing in the past.
