 Netherlands-based car maker PAL-V is set to open its manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The company is expected to start production in India by 2021. According to the news agency, the memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the launching of the company has been signed by Gujarat Chief Secretary of State M. Mukherjee. It has been reported that Das and Carl Marzbommel, vice president of PAL-V's international business development division, have been signed.

Under the agreement, the state government will provide basic assistance to establish the company in Gujarat. The reasons for the establishment of this company in Gujarat are good advanced world-class structures and simple trading space, Carlo Massommel noted. The Government also provides excellent commercial ports and logistics facilities that enable the company to export cars manufactured in India to the United Nations and other European countries.

The company has already received orders for the export of 110 cars. The two-engined flying cars are designed to be capable of flying at 160 km / h on the road and 180 km / h on the air. And it will be ready to fly in just three minutes while on the road. Once filled with the fuel it can fly up to 500 km.

At a starting India price of Rs 2.6 crore for the standard "Liberty Sport" version, the PAL-V flying car does not come cheap. We do not even account for import and other taxes. The "Liberty Pioneer Edition" premium is still expensive and will set you around Rs 3.9 crore.
