Volkswagen Company: The T-Cross is also the first-ever small SUV in the automotive industry and will compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur among others in this segment. The T-Cross adds Volkswagen's growing SUV portfolio as more and more buyers are switching to smaller SUVs rather than hatchbacks or sedans. Globally, the T-Cross will be offered in two versions with a short-wheelbase version in the European market and a long-wheelbase version in emerging markets. The Euro-spec Volkswagen T-Cross is based on the MQB A0 platform and measures 4.11 meters, while other versions are 4.19 meters for markets such as India, China, Brazil.

The crossover will receive its first proper refresh since its first launch. The refreshed iteration of the Honda WR-V is expected to receive aesthetic upgrades with the new BS6 compliant powertrain options. When launched, the hatchback-based crossover will take on Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport, and Hyundai Venue.

Mercedes-Benz GLB

Mercedes-Benz India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the established German Daimler AG, it revealed its compact 7 seater SUV - GLB. The SUV will be positioned between GLA and GLC. Yes, there is a third row, but Mercedes-Benz is very clear stating that 2 seats in the last row are optional. The all-new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB will celebrate its world premiere in Utah in June and go on sale worldwide later this year. The GLB is 4634 mm long, 1834 mm wide and 1658 mm long. At 2829 millimeters, the GLB has a 100 mm longer wheelbase than the new B-Class.
