MG Motor Company India has officially listed the upcoming Hector Plus SUV on the website before its launch. A three-line version of Hector will be launched in India next month.

MG Motor Company India recently started production of Hector Plus with its facility in Halol, Gujarat. The carmaker is set to launch the SUV in the Indian market by next month. Prior to its launch, the SUV has been listed online on the official website. In addition, a three-line version of MG Hector was captured in camera at the dealership stockyard, indicating that the company has already begun dispatch before launch. Hector Plus was officially unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020. The SUV was expected to be a showroom hit by now, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
Coming Soon MG Hector Plus is based on the same platform as the Hector SUV. However, SUVs make minor cosmetic changes to the sport, especially in the up front. The company has replaced the chrome border around the grille with a shiny black grille, with new LED day-time running lamps. It also comes with a newly added headlamp that reflects the front design. The SUV gets a new front and rear bumper, new rear tail lamp design, revised skid plate and more.

Interior design, The three-row version of the Hector SUV comes equipped with new tan faux leather upholstery, beige headliners and a revised dashboard with matched tan panels. Initially, the company will offer SUVs with captain seats in the middle row, offering a 6-seater or 7-seater layout. It also offers air vents, rear AC vents for third row passengers, adjustable headrests for all passengers.

Apart from these, All other features are likely to be borrowed from the 5-seater Hector, including in-car technology, including a 10.4-inch touchscreen unit. Like the 5-seater Hector, the new Hector Plus will also be a connected car, and it will receive Over the Air (OTA) updates allowing customers to update software or firmware, themes, infotainment content, and more.
The MG Hector Plus SUV will be powered by a single Fiat-sour 2.0-liter diesel and a home-grown 1.5-liter mild-hybrid petrol unit. Both engines will be offered as a six-speed manual gearbox, optional as a dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) as standard on petrol models.
The all-new MG Hector Plus will be the third product from the brand in the country to top the five-seater Hector SUV in its product portfolio for the Indian market. The three-line iteration of the Hector SUV is likely to be priced slightly higher than its younger sibling. The 5-seater Hector is priced from ₹ 12.74 lakhs to ₹ 17.73 lakhs (ex-showroom).
