Tata Curvv EV will become the first mid-size electric SUV in Tata Motors' EV portfolio once launched. It will also be offered with a petrol-diesel engine option later.
Tata Motors on Wednesday introduced a new electric vehicle concept Curvv. It was awaited for a long time. Like the Tata Nexon EV, the Curvv sports a sloped roofline and a coupe-like design. According to Tata Motors, after the launch of the Curvv EV, it will be offered with petrol and diesel engine options as well.
Tata Curvv EV will be placed above the Nixon in Tata's line-up. This will make it the first mid-size electric SUV in Tata Motors' EV portfolio. The Curvv electric car will be launched in 2024. In this, the steering design of Tata's next generation has been given. According to reports, the Tata Curvv is a development of the Tata Sierra EV concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020.

As per the teaser, it gets LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) that extend up to the bonnet crease. The primary headlights are mounted on the bumper of the car. The headlight is placed in a triangle shape. Gray machine-cut alloy wheels are also seen in the teaser. The logos of Tata and EV are visible on the rear side of the car. Its curved back windshield and sleek roof-mounted spoiler in the teaser differentiate the concept car.
Earlier, the Tata Curvv EV concept was touted as a long-range version of the Tata Nexon EV, but according to the company, the new SUV will be placed above the Nexon.
