In the Battle of Coronavirus: Passenger vehicle exports decreased by 44.24 percent in March 2020 Exports of passenger cars declined by 59.64 percent to 20,994 units as compared to 52,021 units in March last year, while the UV segment grew by 8.75 percent to 16,895 units as compared to 15,535 units a year ago. Coronavirus Lockdown: Maruti Suzuki reported a massive 47% drop in sales in March 2020  In the last month of the financial year, Maruti Suzuki sold less than 1 lakh vehicles, surpassing the 1.5 lakh mark for the entire year.  The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has given below sales figures for March. This is a decrease of about 47% compared to March last year. Almost half of the caravan virus lockups are the main reason for the sale, which is why the company stopped making cars from 22 March.
