Coronavirus Lockdown: Maruti Suzuki reported a massive 47% drop in sales in March 2020  In the last month of the financial year, Maruti Suzuki sold less than 1 lakh vehicles, surpassing the 1.5 lakh mark for the entire year.  The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has given below sales figures for March. This is a decrease of about 47% compared to March last year. Almost half of the caravan virus lockups are the main reason for the sale, which is why the company stopped making cars from 22 March.
